Len Lesser

Len Lesser, the say so player who was most recognizable seeing festive up on Seinfeld, serve it to shirk a gambling debt or negotiate his eyebrows blown off, died Wednesday of complications from cancer-related pneumonia. He was 88.

His crack comic timing led to mismated roles as a cantankerous old-man reputation in mad About You, lamb Meets World, Everybody Loves Raymond, ER and, conspicuously recently, Castle.

The New York City native's craft got rolling, however, on shows like The Munsters, The Monkees and bring off Smart, and he had small parts on the big screen, considering well, in Papillon, Outlaw Josey Whales besides Bird Man of Alcatraz.

Lesser, an Army vet who served impact World War II, is survived by a son again a daughter, over well as three grandchildren.
