NEW HAVEN, Conn. (CBS) -- The former animal research technician at Yale University had pleaded guilty Mar. 17 to murder and attempted sexual assault of a student in 2009.
Raymond Clark III pleaded guilty under an agreement that would give him a more than 40-year prison sentence.
He was accused of strangling 24-year-old Annie Le in a case that drew national attention. Her body was found stuffed behind a research lab wall on what would have been her wedding day.
Clark was charged with murder and felony murder, both charges carrying lengthy prison sentences.
