CBS said Monday that it had ordered amassed seasons of “The incredible Race” again “Undercover Boss,” two of its most reliable worldliness shows.
As they start construction their schedules in that the 2011-12 television season, the broadcast networks accept prepared a string of renewal decisions. In early March CBS ordered two additional seasons of “Survivor,” new one of its reality shows, bringing the total number of seasons to 24. In mid-March, NBC ordered numerous seasons of three Thursday-night sitcoms, “The Office,” “Parks also Recreation” and “Community.” And on Friday Fox vocal unaffected had picked buildup “Fringe,” the sci-fi drama, seeing a fourth season.
Early renewals are especially helpful for scripted shows because they allow writers besides producers to plan the endings of the current seasons.
