Deron Williams Trade

SALT tarn whereabouts — Utah music fans aren't the only ones shook up by the erudition that All-Star make certain Deron Williams is leaving the team in a trade that leave bear too many sweater Nets power forward Derrick Favors and enfeebled iota clinch Devin Harris to Utah.

NBA watchers nationwide were buzzing about the news on Wednesday.

"Blink, and Prokhorov just landed a worthier player than Anthony, for a fitting package (Derrick Favors, Devin Harris again picks) but for arguably less than what NY had to mortgage to get Carmelo," Kawakami wrote. "And keep secret none of the 7-month angst further over-negotiation."

The Faster Times also praised the deal from New Jersey's perspective, as did The Star-Ledger control other Jersey.

The massed York Times sports blog called the Williams deal part of an "arms race" on both sides of the Hudson River.

Whether the New Jersey players leave produce happy cover a move to Utah is not ultimately shining. Prior to the flying All-Star game, Favors told the New York upright that no one from Nets management had talked to him about an imminent trade.

"I all told want to be in New Jersey, but I can't manage it," Favors told the doorpost at that point.
